Planned features
A trip to the park, time with grandparents or the walk to nursery: Mini starts with the needs of younger children. The concept keeps its focus on location and everyday wear, without adding a talk button or a screen.
GPS estimates a device’s location. An eSIM is intended to give Mini a mobile connection to share updates. Indoor conditions, battery, network coverage and settings can affect the experience. Update frequency, supported countries and service plans are still to be confirmed.
Introduce a band in language your child understands. Explain who can see their location, practise your usual meeting point and keep adult supervision at the centre. A connected band complements a family routine; it cannot guarantee a child’s safety.
Kaitsa is not currently an active emergency service. Contact routes and response services are still being developed; automatic emergency dispatch is not a confirmed feature.
